Gaze Into the Eyes of the Enemy

I often talk about "socialist utopians" or "Olympians". For those whose eyes glaze over when these terms are used, let me do some explaining.

"Olympian" is a term sometimes used by academics to describe that class of person who believes that all of the world's problems can be solved through multilateral organizations. The UN is a classic "Olympian" organization where "multilateralism" has been turned into a multibillion dollar business ... and religion. The IPCC would be a perfect case in point.

"Socialist Utopians" are much the same, with an added twist ... they believe not only in multilateralism at all costs, but in using the weight of regulation to force "multilateralism" on the world to the point that all become the same. "Socialist Utopians" would erase the primacy of the state ... and would place all under one world socialist order. How else, to ensure that total equality or "brotherhood of man" be reached.

There's already been a "Socialist Utopian" and "Olympian" theme song written. I'm sure you've heard it before:

Imagine there's no Heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people
Living for today

Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people
Living life in peace

You may say that I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man

Imagine all the people
Sharing all the world
You may say that
I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will live as one

If you want to gaze into the maw of "Olympianism", do some reading at the link below. You'll see how Kyoto, Global Warming, and "sharing all the world" are being pushed by powerful individuals. click

Of course, you need not go far abroad to find "Socialist Utopians", as Canada has blessed the world with a whole herd of them ... from Maurice Strong to Louise Frechette ... we've poisoned the world right well.

As for me, I'm Canadian first ... I vote here ... I live here ... and those responsible to me are here ... as well as those I'm responsible too ... damn the UN.
