The New White House Alibi

It appears that the intellectual geniuses at the White House have finally come up with a brilliant new way of deflecting criticism:

"Edmunds.com has released a faulty analysis," the (White House) blog post said. "This is the latest of several critical analyses of the Cash for Clunkers program from Edmunds.com, which appear designed to grab headlines and get coverage on cable TV."

... that's right, anything Big O and crew don't like must be made for cable ... therefore irrelevant ... brilliant!

I think I might use the technique in all debates from now on.
