Step One: Harper wins a minority.

Step Two: Jack forms the official opposition.

Step Three: The Socialist Trio drop the government.

Folks, there's only 3 days to get the word out if you come to the same conclusion that I do.

If this doesn't motivate people out there in tv land to get out and help their local conservative candidate I don't know what will. YOU CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE. If you don't want a Jack Layton led coalition then don't just vote, make sure you help your local candidate get out the vote.

There's a very scary forum research poll out now too. This is getting insane. Do Canadians really want an NDP government? FOR REAL? Can you imagine?

the conservatives should be highlighting the disaster Layton and his pinko comrades left in Toronto; the idea that this pseudo-communist could control the government should terrify any sane person

Proffessor Lee from Carleton just said that if we wake up Tuesday to a minority government, the markets will assume the coalition will take over with Jack as PM and the looney would "drop like a stone", Mark Carney would "raise interest rates" and the price of goods would rise dramatically.

Step Six: Enraged Canadians will storm Parliament and rectify the situation.

One of the problems this campaign has been that the msm doesn't seem to understand that we don't pound away on the coalition thing to scare voters, we do it because it's going to happen. This isn't some made up boogey man invented by the conservative war room. It's REAL. Worse yet it's now lead by JACK LAYTON. Seriously sometime in May or more likely July or August while people are on vacation JACK LAYTON will pull off a coup and take us back to the dark ages.

Has anyone heard of Forum Research before this poll? My guess is they want to make a big splash and get their name printed. If Nanos, Angus, AND Ipsos all show this, then I will be worried. The Bloc with 3 seats? I'd like what they are smoking!

Sounds great, Jack destroys the BQ, unites Canada, brings in Pharmacare, improves pensions, improves childcare, brings the economy roaring back to life with aid to small biz, gets us out of Afganistan, kills the need for more prisons and jets, cleans up the environment, phases out the world's biggest polluter the Tar Sands, brings in cap&trade, uses the billions to improve new sources of energy and gives the entire bill to rich people who don't notice the loss of pocket change.

Everybody is happy!

Funny, I had the exact same thought, but depending on the NDP in BC, we may just have to go it alone in the Republic of Alberta (not ideal, but workable)

Things under Harper seem much better, ACTA and C-50, C-51 and C-52. Let's give up all our rights and freedoms for more surveillance and police powers without court oversight. Of course this will require the massive re-working of networks for which we'll obviously foot the bill. Oh, and of course more F-35 fighter jets! Must have those too.....Sounds like the Nazi regime.
