Lost in all the justified outrage over the Oslo killings, is the missing "other" outrage.
How, in a first-world country which is one of the wealthiest in Europe, is it possible for 90 minutes to elapse between the time that scores of calls for help go out, and the police arrive? How, is it possible that SWAT can't be deposited in place because its helicopter is not on standby, no boats are available, and none can be commandeered in a region that is dominated by "water" and "mountain"?
Typical of the elitist Progressive media, is that the issue has become one of attempting to tar all conservatives with the Oslo murders while virtually ignoring the mind-numbing incompetence of Oslo's security forces.
In Saskatoon, Canada, where we only have a river, there are search and rescue personnel available, with boats, who could respond to a situation like this in a fraction of the time that it took Oslo's incompetent security forces to do their job.
Let's wait and see if Norway's people are citizens or subjects ... "citizens" will demand answers and will express outrage over the uselessness of their police force, and those citizens will politically rip to shreds the boobs who run Oslo's security systems; on the other hand, "subjects" will trust the elites and take their lead from what the elites say.

Well,if you're questioning the competence of Norwegian authorities,at "Skynews" I read this AM that Breivik has been on the "watch list" of Norway's version of MI-5 since March this year.
Apparently he illegally purchased some suspicious chemicals from Poland a short while ago,but it was deemed "not relevant" by the Security service.
As with all these incidents of mass violence, the secondary outrage is in the manner with which the MSM use the incident politically to smear their ideological enemies.
In this case, right out of the starting gate and on into the endless nattering class narrative after the fact, the pernicious-left journolist is selling the perpetraitor's image as that of the blond Arian xenophobic conservative Christian fundamentalist - all the seditious Euro-left's boogy men in one package. The unstated implication is that self destructive accommodation of extremist Islm by the crack pot left is justified because of the "Neo Nazi" threat looming in the Scando nations. Any rational opposition to Islam's cultural foibles like Xenophobic Sharia, radical Jihad and cultural misogyny can now be painted as 'hate' mongering and the manufactured image of the Oslo shooter will be envoked like a holy left icon of Conservative anti-Muslim "hatred".
Having endured the overt insane rhetoric contained in the shooter's manifesto it becomes obvious that he was neither Christian, certainly not fundamentalist, and not Conservative in vales or politics - He was a self created extremist much like the terroriststhat spring from Islamic roots - but none of these facts matter to a ideologue-left media busying themselves with concocting a new straw man with which to silence opposition/dissent to crackpot leftist social theories.
When the day is done and all the incendiary rhetoric goes silent, this incident was NOT about Islam Vs the west or Left Vs right or Christians vs atheist secularism - it was just another case of a dangerous mad man acting on his delusions and a state that was ill prepared to deal with madmen acting out their delusion.
Shameful.
